Built for the Scenic Route

Because mental health isn’t a final stop, it’s the landscape we live in every day.

Welcome to the 2026 Soluna Inner State Roadtrip, where there are no wrong turns. Through the entire month of May, we’ll be driving our 22-ft Soluna truck through the state of California, connecting with young people about their mental health.

So hop in, buckle up, and join Soluna as we navigate our Inner and Outer States together.

The Ground We've Covered

Proof that the journey is worth it

Before we look ahead to the road, let’s glance back at the ground we’ve already covered. The latest research tells a story of a generation looking for new ways to feel supported.

From the rural peaks to the urban grid, we are now reaching young people in all 58 California counties. But the numbers that matter most are the ones that come directly from the young people we serve. The latest findings in the 2025 Impact Report show 95% of users would recommend Soluna to a friend. We’re not just providing an app, we’re building a space where no one has to walk their path alone.

Support that stays with you

A 2026 independent study by Northwestern University found that young people using Soluna experienced meaningful drops in stress, loneliness, and hopelessness. These weren't just quick fixes; the improvements were still there three months later.

Whether it’s getting through the final days of freshman year or finding a way to quiet the noise of a busy city, Soluna provides the tools to help teens and young adults stay grounded.

The States We Navigate

Mapping the world around us and the feelings within us

Everyone’s map is different, so think of these cities and boundaries as a guide, not a rule. Use the landscapes that feel real to you, and remember: No matter where you land, Soluna’s here for the long haul.

  • The Outer State: The misty coastline where the land meets the ocean, a place of beginnings and endings
  • The Inner State: Reflection. Building the habit of looking back at how far you’ve come.
  • The Reality: 94% of Gen Z report monthly mental health challenges (Newport Healthcare, 2026). Reflection helps you see the small wins that usually go unnoticed.
  • The In-App Activity: Mood Log. A simple way to see how your feelings change over time
  • The Outer State: Vast lands that feel endless: a place built on hard work and staying power.
  • The Inner State: Resilience. Building the strength to keep going; it isn’t about perfection, it’s about steady steps, through every season.
  • The Reality: Severe provider shortages mean many regions lack the safety net they deserve (HCAI, 2025). Resilience isn't about doing it alone. It's about showing up for yourself when things are tough.
  • The In-App Activity: Let It Out. A safe place to say exactly how you feel.
  • The Outer State: Rugged mountains and high altitudes: a place where you have to rely on your own skills to move forward.
  • The Inner State: Self-Trust. Relying on your own internal compass when the echoes of others fade away.
  • The Reality: Rural youth often face higher levels of sadness with the least amount of school-based support (PPIC, 2026). Trusting your own signal is a vital inner resource.
  • The In-App Activity: Values. Identifying what matters most to you.
  • The Outer State: A landscape of constant motion: fast, crowded, and loud.
  • The Inner State: Presence. Finding a private space within a public one.
  • The Reality: In dense areas like LA, the "external noise" of daily life is a primary mental health stressor (UCLA CHIS, 2024). Finding your own quiet is a way to handle that pressure.
  • The In-App Activity: Noise Cleanse. A simple way to lower the volume of the world.

Voices from the road

A Shared Map

We don’t travel alone. Soluna is proud to partner with a wide network of schools, libraries, and organizations dedicated to protecting and supporting the mental wellbeing of young people. From local resource centers to statewide initiatives, behind each of these logos are amazing humans helping ensure support is available every step of the journey.

Guided by Your Voice

We work with ambassadors to make sure Soluna stays focused on the support that communities actually need. Whether it’s young people giving us feedback on new features, or educators and families starting honest conversations in their own neighborhoods, these groups help decide where Soluna goes next.
