Absolutely. Safety and confidentiality are our highest concern. When teens create an account, they’ll be asked to provide an Email Address, ZIP Code and Date of Birth — just to confirm regional eligibility to use the services. To access peer forums and coaching, first and last name are required to confirm their Aetna Better Health of Illinois membership, but at no time is it visible in the app. All user-generated content in peer forums is anonymous, and users cannot chat directly with each other or share personal contact information.
