Soluna by Kooth is here!
Soluna is an evolution of the Kooth service we have been providing to young people for over 25 years.
Soluna makes accessing mental health support even easier and more flexible for children and young people.

From Kooth to Soluna: how to get up-to-date
To ensure your students continue to have access to free, safe and confidential mental health support, we’re helping our partners update their resources:
- Updated website links and QR code
- Pre-written copy to let your community know about the change
- At a glance’ guide for your teams
- New posters, flyers, cards, and a Soluna video to raise awareness among young people
- Easy-to-follow signposting guidance.
Find everything you need to make sure your students, families and wider teams know about Soluna in our resources portal.
What is Soluna?
Soluna is a free, online mental health platform for children and young people, provided in partnership with the NHS and local councils.
By giving young people direct access to support and working hand-in-hand with local partners, Soluna helps ease the pressure on pastoral teams, DSLs, Mental Health Support Teams, counselling services and teaching staff.

Soluna: supporting students
Real, professional support
Soluna’s one-to-one text chats are accredited by the BACP and are delivered by qualified practitioners – never chatbots. Sessions are available every day up to 10pm, including weekends.
Expert resources
The platform is packed with resources and tools. Our content carries the PIF TICK quality mark, meaning it’s evidence-based, up-to-date, and easy to understand.
Safe and age-appropriate
Content is age-gated so young people only see material suitable for them. Our community spaces are pre-moderated, and users cannot privately message each other.
