Soluna makes accessing mental health support even easier and more flexible for children and young people.
What is Soluna?
Soluna is a free, online mental health platform for children and young people, provided in partnership with the NHS and local councils.
By giving young people direct access to free, professional help, Soluna supports parents and carers across the UK who want safe support for their child.

One-to-one support
Soluna’s one-to-one text chats are accredited by the BACP and are delivered by qualified practitioners – never chatbots. Sessions are available every day up to 10pm, including weekends.
Self-guided tools
The platform is packed with resources and tools. Our content carries the PIF TICK quality mark, meaning it’s evidence-based, up-to-date, and easy to understand.
Peer community
Content is age-gated so young people only see material suitable for them. Our community spaces are pre-moderated, and users cannot privately message each other.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. What a young person shares with Soluna is kept private, in the same way it would be with any confidential support service. The only exception is if there's a serious safety concern, in which case Soluna's clinical team follows established safeguarding protocols.
We hold ourselves to the highest safety, clinical and digital standards. We are regularly audited by independent bodies to ensure our platforms are safe, secure, and effective for our users.
Our processes align with the Ofcom regulations set out as part of the Online Safety Act to guarantee content on our platform is age-appropriate and that children and young people remain safe.
